Information for Sponsors
We are pleased to offer a range of sponsorship opportunities for SAMLA 97, tiered to provide maximum visibility for your organization. We welcome contributions in any amount as well as co-sponsorships in most categories, where two or more companies/institutions share recognition. If you’re unable to meet the full sponsorship total, you can still participate by contributing within the range.
Institutional & Corporate Tiers
Gold Sponsor | $6,000+
- Title Sponsor: Enjoy the recognition of your institution’s name as title sponsor: “The South Atlantic Modern Language Association conference, presented by…”
- Advertisements: Two full-page color ads in the program.
- Registrations: Complimentary conference registration and 1-year SAMLA membership for up to 5 attendees from your institution.
- Event Access: Tickets to attend all ticketed conference events.
- On-Site Presence: One complimentary vendor booth table in the exhibition hall.
- Lodging: One standard room night at the conference hotel.
- Recognition: Dedicated signage at registration and prominent billing in the program.
Silver Sponsor | $3,000
- Advertisements: One full-page ad in the program.
- Registrations: Complimentary conference registration for up to 3 attendees from your institution.
- Event Access: Tickets to attend all ticketed conference events.
- Recognition: Shared signage at registration and billing in the program.
Bronze Sponsor | $1,000
- Advertisements: One half-page ad in the program.
- Registrations: Complimentary conference registration for 1 attendee.
- Recognition: Listed in the program as a major institutional supporter.
A La Carte Event Sponsorships
All event sponsorships include dedicated easel-board signage at the venue (“This event was sponsored by…”) and formal recognition in the conference program.

If you prefer to purchase a general program advertisement without sponsoring an event or tier:
