What is a SAMLA sponsorship?
A sponsorship is an agreement between SAMLA and a sponsoring organization, in which the organization provides funding to meet one of SAMLA’s key initiatives and where SAMLA provides the sponsoring organization with advertisement opportunity, marketing potential to a membership 5,000+ strong, and other benefits based on the amount funded.
Who are SAMLA sponsors?
SAMLA’s sponsors have historically been major and minor book presses, colleges, universities, bookstores, and private donors. However, we are open to evaluating sponsorship proposals from any organization, even those that do not fall into our historical categories.
How do I become a sponsor?

I want to make a general donation. How do I do this?
You can donate anytime by accessing our organization’s Paypal here.
I’m past the age of 70 1/2 and I want to make a qualified charitable donation (QCD) through my IRA. How do I do this?
QCDs can only be made directly by your IRA trustee/custodian, who will disburse the funds directly to SAMLA (via check): https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/qualified-charitable-distributions-allow-eligible-ira-owners-up-to-100000-in-tax-free-gifts-to-charity. Supply your IRA trustee with the following information about SAMLA, and they will be able to process the paperwork:

I want to donate to SAMLA through my donor-advised fund (DAF). How do I do this?
Login/contact your DAF trustee/custodian. On their online portal, they should have a place where you can specify which non-profit organization you want to donate to. Supply them with our EIN number: 62-0800246.
